KDC is a charity helping people to live independently and enjoy equal rights and full social inclusion. We have over thirty years’ experience supporting individuals of all ages who are disabled and/or have long term health conditions.

 

We specialise in services for those who use Direct Payments / Personal Budgets as a means to arrange their own care and support services.

 

If you need extra help to operate your direct payments, our Managed Account Service takes care of all the administration tasks involved - whilst ensuring that you have full choice and control.

 

If you employ your own personal care assistants, our comprehensive Payroll Service covers all of the duties you have as an employer, for example processing wages, dealing with HMRC, and managing your responsibilities for workplace   pensions.

 

99% of customers surveyed rated the Payroll Service as ‘good’,’ very good’ or ‘excellent’.

 98% of customers surveyed rated the Managed Account Service as ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’.

Managed Accounts Service

Our Managed Accounts Service takes the stress out of using direct payments by carrying out all of the financial transactions on your behalf. We use accredited systems and processes and all our staff are trained and experienced.

• We will receive the money for your personal budget directly from the Council into a dedicated, secure bank account in your name.
• We will pay wages due to your personal assistants, care agency invoices, tax and national insurance and any other bills.
• We will keep records and deal with the Local Authority’s reporting requirements.
