26/11/2014
1-3 February 2015
Ribby Hall Village, Ribby Road, Wrea Green, Preston, PR4 2PR
This is a conference like no other! It's a 3-day 'experience'which focuses on building community, working out solutions to some of the most pressing social and economic challenges, achieving better outcomes, and creating a sense of belonging for everyone.
Those who have been before will tell you that it's not typical of the traditional sort of conference. We don't profess to have any big names on the guest list, and it's certainly not a formal atmosphere.
You will be invited to take part in the whole host of creative and interactive workshops, learn from others who know how to build community, take part in 'Come Dine With Me' experiences, and even showcase your talents.
And for those who have been before, it's also a chance to meet up with old friends, share stories and make new connections.
Who is it aimed at?
Everyone is welcome, including: people who need support; personal assistants; support workers and carers; professionals; and public, private, voluntary and third sector organisations. You will be part of an inclusive community, where we will support each other to cook, eat, live, learn and laugh together.
How much does it cost?
£150 per person (10% discount for My Life members), which includes 2 nights'accommodation, workshops, entertainment and food. We also have a limited number of subsidised places for people who may otherwise not be able to attend because of financial hardship.
