Woodlands Day Centre

About this provider

Woodlands Day centre is open Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm. We are connected to woodlands care home and have set this new service up as we felt there was a need for it in the community. We will have activities running throughout the day with our very experienced activity co-ordinators. Having had a number of service users come to our care home for day care before coming in on a permanent basis we saw the great impact it had on making the transition a seamless one. it was for this reason we have decided to have a designated day care centre.

The day care is for all elderly people who are being cared for in the community, it is primarily set up to give the main carers a well deserved break and a bit of time out for themselves, as this can be very challenging looking after a loved one permanently.
