Dales house is a small residential unit providing full time care and support to adults with complex needs, learning and physical disabilities.
Dales house has seven bedrooms, our home promotes a relaxed and homely atmosphere within a safe and secure environment where we pledge to provide person centred care based upon individual needs. As our home is arranged over two floors there is access to an indoor lift, ceiling tracking hoists, change tables and other specialist equipment.

All members will be fully involved in making choices regarding the decoration and lay out of their bedrooms and personal living spaces.

There are three communal living areas including a dining room, living room and day room and a range of appropriate activities will be available in consultation with member's needs. Dales House is situated in a popular residential area and has good transport links to the city of Hull and the village of Cottingham. There are a range of local shops, churches, pubs and parks within easy reach.

All care staff are experienced and have, or are working towards, NVQ level 2 in health and social care as a minimum standard. All staff have received additional specialist training in the use of a variety of communication techniques including hand signing, intensive interaction and the use of symbols. Our home has a specific feeding and swallowing policy and staff will be able to meet a variety of nutritional needs.
