Ellesmere House is a strikingly modern, purpose-built care home with a great location in the heart of Chelsea in west London. We provide nursing and residential care for older people, including those with physical disabilities. Our team are experts in supporting individuals who are living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia and we also offer sensitive end of life care.

Residents’ rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished in contemporary yet classic furniture. They all feature en-suite facilities, a flat-screen television, a 24-hour nurse call system and telephone and internet connections. Many residents have had distinguished careers, so we try to search out their works, such as books and paintings, to display around the home.

The home is arranged into four separate bright and airy suites, each with its own dining room and lounge. This community-within-a-community approach enables residents who are living with dementia to feel more secure and settled. Other facilities at Ellesmere House include an activity room, two quiet rooms, a hairdressing salon, a 1950's style tea room, and a small kitchen for residents to use. Our new suite which opened in mid-November 2015 also features a cinema and coffee shop which is available for all residents to use.

Outside, we have two secure sensory gardens with lawns and an area where residents can grow flowers and plants of their own choice. The gardens are very popular with residents and visitors when the sun is shining. Rooms in our dementia suite open directly onto our central courtyard garden.

Ellesmere House has four floors and includes lifts. The home and garden are fully accessible to wheelchair users.
