Avon House Balcombe

Avon House is a large Edwardian property in the village of Balcombe close to Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and Crawley, surrounded by the beautiful Sussex countryside.

We have 16 bedrooms, 3 of which are double rooms. All of our rooms have private ensuite facilities as well as television and phone points.

The house is welcoming, light and airy with wide hallways, spacious rooms and bedrooms and is always clean and fresh.

New residents are welcome to bring their own furniture to help them feel at home, though we do provide furniture if they choose not too.

First floor rooms are serviced by a lift and our large, beautiful garden can be accessed from the first floor via our large decked area with ramps.

We also have two separate bathrooms with assisted bathing facilities.

The lounge on the ground floor provides a meeting place for tea and coffee, a chat or a glass of sherry, and is large enough to find a corner for a quiet read.

We have recently bought an iPad for residents to be able to use the internet and to skype their relatives.
