Lindum Court offers 24-hour personal care for older people and can accept service users with varying degrees of disability, including frail elderly, physically disabled and those suffering with dementia and Alzheimer's. The home is situated on the High Street in Owsten Ferry, along the main road between Epworth and Scunthorpe. The home aims to offer a family atmosphere and with only 24 beds does not feel institutionalised. Each bedroom is equipped with a washbasin, electrical sockets, TV point, nurse call system, main and bedside lighting. Residents are encouraged to bring in small items of furniture from home and personal items to dress their room. There are 2 sitting rooms and a large conservatory that also serves as a dining room.

The food we offer is nutritious, varied and wholesome and suited to individual requirements and preferences. Health, personal and social care needs will be generated from a comprehensive assessment with each service user and will provide the basis for the care to be delivered. Each resident has their own personal centered care plan and prior to arrival at Lindum Court, the manager will go to meet the individual and assess their individual needs. Each resident is allocated a Key Worker who is responsible for monitoring, reviewing and coordinating the individuals care needs. Residents are actively encouraged to take part in many of the regular weekly activities at Lindum Court, and the social events held in the village. In addition we also have various family events running throughout the course of the year, particular highlights are the seaside day and summer bbq, along with celebrating all calendar events every year.
