Breakthrough UK is a disabled people's user-led organisation, whose aim is to promote the rights, responsibilities and respect of disabled people. We provide a range of services designed and delivered by disabled people to empower and enable other disabled people to be independent and to have choice and control in their lives and over the decisions which affect them. Our current business activities include provision of:- Independent Living skills training for Disabled People; Support Brokerage, Managed Accounts and Payroll services for holders of Health and Social Care Personal Budgets; Employment Support and Employability Skills training for Disabled People; Early Help Preventative Support for Disabled People; Equality and Hate Crime Awareness and Action Planning Training for organisations; Facilitating co-production and user engagement by Disabled People for other organisations in respect of planning and delivery of services. We operate across Greater Manchester. We have Investors In People Silver and Investors In People Health and Well Being accreditations and our Quality Management System is certified to ISO 9001/2008 by the British Assessment Bureau.
