Individual solutions

Before fitting a Lifeline or any telecare products in your home we'll discuss your needs and what you want to achieve. This makes sure the equipment suits you and your lifestyle.

Lifeline

Your Lifeline has a red button to press in an emergency.

The red button can be worn as a pendant or around your wrist. When it's pressed the Lifeline contacts the care centre and you can talk to them using the powerful microphone and speaker in its base.

Careline staff will know your chosen contacts and key holders and will contact them in an emergency. So, even if you can't talk, help will be on its way. If necessary they'll also call a doctor or the emergency services to help.

Telecare

Telecare products are sensors and detectors that work with a Lifeline. They are designed to spot when things change at home. If a detector or sensor is triggered it will activate the Lifeline to automatically call the care centre with no need to push the red button.

The range of sensors and detectors offer peace of mind 24 hours a day and can help to manage risks at home. Some of these are listed below.

Personal monitors

  • Fall detector
  • Bed and chair occupancy sensors
  • Medication dispensers

Environmental sensors

  • Flood detector
  • Carbon monoxide detector
  • Temperature extremes sensor
  • Heat detector
  • Firelink smoke detectors (in association with West Sussex Fire and Rescue)

Personal safety

  • Bogus caller / panic button

Out and about

Using the latest GPS technology there's a MindMe alarm for anyone who may feel vulnerable when they are out and about, including those with early stage dementia. There's also one for those who take part in activities in isolated areas such as horse riding, mountain biking etc. where accidents may happen and it is difficult to call for help.

Included in the price

The rental charge includes free installation, an annual service visit, maintenance of the equipment and the services of your local Lifeline team and monitoring centre.
