Overall

With ubu’s support, I found a course with St John Ambulance that would teach me the basic skills, and set me on my path to qualification. I worked very hard and soon received my certification. However, I’m not stopping there! I have since enrolled for another course to further my training and increase my skills.
Getting these qualifications has made me even more enthusiastic to become part of a volunteer unit, helping provide valuable first aid at public events and being of service to my community.

Jill and Andrea recently took a late year break to take in some sea air at a beachside caravan park on the east coast.
Staying on a holiday park meant that there were plenty of activities to get involved in and nightly entertainment to boot. Given that the ladies had a whole week to do whatever they wanted they spent some of the time relaxing in the sea breeze, but also managed to fit in plenty of shopping and sightseeing in nearby Filey and Bridlington, as well as indulging in some fine fish and chips.
There was fun to be had trying their luck on the slot machines and at the times when it got colder there was plenty of cosy hot chocolate to be had!
What a great way to spend a week!
