Thera is a group of companies that supports adults with a learning disability across the UK.

We support people in their own homes, in the community, at work and for short breaks.

We believe that people with a learning disability should have control over their own lives and should choose what kind of support they need.

We first started supporting people in 1998 and have lots of experience in supporting people with different needs.

Our approach is personalised to every individual and we work with families and carers to make sure we provide the right kind of support.

Each Thera company is managed locally by a team of staff who have good links with the local community. Our staff are experts in providing person-centred support to people with a learning disability. Our service quality directors all have a learning disability and use their own experiences to make sure we always focus on the person we are supporting.

The people we support and their families and carers are fully involved in the running of their Thera company and have the opportunity of becoming company members.
