We have 27 large single bedrooms all with large ensuites, all ground floor bedrooms decorated in calming colours. The furniture at Smallbrook has won awards from Stirling University (a leader in dementia research) for their ‘user friendly' designs. Smallbrook has at every stage been designed with our future residents at the heart of every design decision. We have also always asked ourselves ‘would I want my mother and father living here?' the answer has been our guide, and that answer is 'yes'.

The Boathouse is the hub of the home and a fabulous bright open space, with a bistro area and library with views over our large terrace to the planted garden beyond. Smallbrook sits on a site of 1.25 acres so there's much more space than you typically find in new care home developments. Add to that the natural subdivision of mature gardens that feel more like semi private courtyards; lavender lined paths and tucked away patios that are real sun traps.
