When you’re affected by cancer, having the right kind of information & support at the right time, is essential. We believe that everyone can live to their full potential no matter where they are on the survivorship journey. Macmillan Cancer Information & Support Service provides a confidential drop in service at venues across the borough for anyone affected by cancer.

This includes people who:

• Require information about cancer
• Have a cancer diagnosis
• Are living with the consequences of cancer
• Are looking to reduce the risks of cancer
• Are a carer, relative, or friend of someone with cancer
• Are healthcare professionals

Appointments can be made in the centre which is a friendly and confidential environment. We also meet people at a range of venues across Doncaster.

Macmillan Cancer Information & Support Service exists to empower and support the people affected by cancer in Doncaster, by providing quality information and support about cancer to enable them to make positive changes to their lives to help them live well.  When you’re affected by cancer, having the right kind of information and support at the right time is essential.

We can support you and your family with welfare and benefits advice, access to social groups, emotional support, information about living with cancer and much more. We offer a single point of contact to the numerous services available to local people affected by cancer.
