Culwood House was established as a Residential Care Home for the Elderly in 1988. It is a two storey Victorian building situated in the beautiful countryside of the Chilterns, 5 minutes drive from Chesham town centre.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to accommodate 19 persons who require nursing or personal care (although 2 rooms are registered if we have couples so most of the time we only accommodate 17 residents).

All our bedrooms are en-suite. Our Residents have access to a communal Lounge, Dining Room and Conservatory as well as a large garden and two Summerhouses (one of which doubles as a Relative's Room so relatives can stay overnight if required).

Due to the smaller size of the Home, we feel we are able to offer a warm, homely environment to our residents. We believe this also enables our Carers to build closer relationships with our Residents and cater for their needs on a more personal level. We welcome visitors any time, within reason, into Culwood House.
